blue january

I have been oscillating between rabid periods of work and evenings with a margarita and American Horror Story.  Whatever you do, don't - seriously, do not - watch that show.  I think it's genuinely bad for your soul. It is definitely bad for your sleep.

The shop is desperately overdue for an update, and this upcoming three day weekend is looking me square in the eye. I'm so excited for three uninterrupted days in my studio. Having a holiday was excellent - but it is time to get back to work. Things are looking downright stale over here.

January is all about blue. I didn't plan it that way. But that way it is.

I'll be doing a little promotional code through the HEM newsletter, so if you want in on that be sure to send me your email address. The newsletter will go out next week. (Hopefully.)

Darlings! I'm terrible. I'm going to watch more scary, scary tv. While handbinding. Because I need something to feign interest in when I'm too afraid to look at the screen. And an excuse to keep the lights on. This is strictly between us - don't tell my husband my cowardly secrets. Thanks in advance on that.

Thanks to all of you for your suggestions about this stupid blogger photo editing business. Your tips were all excellent and you've cured my woes! I'm eternally grateful. Also, until I learn CSS (ha, ha ha ha) it looks like I'll be sticking with blogger. Thank you so much for your help.

  1. Thank you for the warning about American Horror Story, Netflix keeps recommending it to me and I have contemplated it. But being the chicken I am, I probably couldn't handle it. :)
Your projects look wonderful. So I guess something good came out of that show. hehe

  2. Oh my gosh I sort of looked at that tv show but didn't think I could handle it at all. Grimm and Sleepy Hollow are terrifying enough. Hell, I even watch Dr Who from behind a pillow half the time. But I agree with you that doing something with one's hands while the scary show is playing in the background. :) Lovely job on the blue pouches. I'm just trying to get over the jet-lag and am dying to get back into the studio myself. :)
